Read any good books lately? Then add them your Premier's Reading Challenge reading record so that you can complete the Challenge this year.

Get your diva on! It's National Simultaneous Storytime
Have you heard the extra flapping and squawking around the school today? Or maybe you have seen flashes of sequins and tiaras. Are you ready to "get your diva on"?
Today is National Simultaneous Storytime and we are all reading "Whitney and Britney: Chicken Divas"!
You can watch the story being read by a number of well-known faces. These videos are only available until the end of the school day on Friday 29 May.

Writers' Club online in Google Classroom

Are you looking for something fun to do when you have finished your school work while you're learning at home?
Then you might like to join our Writers' Club.
Every Friday in the library Mrs Veugen runs a fun club for students who enjoy writing stories. It is an entirely voluntary program and is all about writing for FUN. Sometimes we write something different each week, and sometimes we work on a story over several weeks.
This term our Writers' Club is going online in Google Classroom. It is for students in Years 1 -6.
One of the activities we'll do in Writers' Club this term is take part in a new creative digital writing program called Everyone's an Author. Each week there will be :
Writers' Club will start in Week 2, and you can complete the Google Classroom activities anytime you like during the week.

- A short author video with tips on an aspect of writing from ten great Aussie authors
- A downloadable and free Learning Journal for you covering that aspect of digital writing
